you can buy these syrups at many grocery or liquor stores, but if you want to make your own...

Simple Syrup
Combine 1 cup sugar and 1 cup boiling filtered water, stir until clear.
store in refriderator

Rock candy Syrup, or RCS
To make Rock candy syrup, (or RCS) use 2 cups of sugar, and simmer until clear, cool, and add two drops pure vanilla extract

Easy Orgeat Syrup
To make a simple version of Orgeat Syrup, start with simple syrup. to one cup, add 1/2 teaspoon almond extract, and 1/2 teaspoon orange water, or 1/4 teaspoon orange extract.

Cinnamon Syrup
In a small saucepan, Combine 1 cup sugar and 1 cup filtered water, and three Cinnamon sticks. Bring mixture to a simmer, stirring occasionally until sugar is dissolved, about 1 minute. Remove saucepan from heat, and let mixtures cool to room temperature, about 30 minutes. Remove and discard cinnamon sticks. Refrigerate syrups in separate airtight containers for up to 2 weeks.

Vanilla Syrup
Scrape seeds from inside of a vanilla bean half into a small saucepan. Add vanilla bean and 1 cup sugar and 1 cup filtered water. Bring mixture to a simmer, stirring occasionally until sugar is dissolved, about 1 minute. Remove saucepan from heat, and let mixtures cool to room temperature, about 30 minutes. Remove and discard vanilla bean. Refrigerate syrups in separate airtight containers for up to 2 weeks.

Spiced Honey Syrup

1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup boiling water
1/2 teaspoon chinese 5 spice
disolve sugar, honey and 5 spice in boiling water, allow to cool. Refrigerate syrups in separate airtight containers for up to 2 weeks.


Tiki Kings smoked Spiced Honey Syrup

1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup boiling water
1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke flavoring, such as wrights
1/2 teaspoon chinese 5 spice
disolve sugar, honey and 5 spice in boiling water, remove from heat, add smoke flavoring, allow to cool. Refrigerate syrups in separate airtight containers for up to 2 weeks.
