Suffering Bastard
Original Cairo Shepheard's Hotel 1947 recipe
1 ounce bourbon (or brandy)
1 ounce London dry gin
1/2 ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Ginger beer, to top
Combine all ingredients in a shaker half filled with cracked Ice, shake, and pour into a double rocks glass, Garnish with a mint sprig, and a lime wheel

1 oz lime juice
1 dash rock candy syrup
1 dash orgeat syrup
1 dash orange Curacao
1 ounce light rum
2 ounces dark rum
or "bar recipe"
1.5 oz lime juice
1 oz trader vics mai tai mix
1 ounce light rum
2 ounces dark rum
Combine all ingredients in a shaker half filled with cracked Ice, shake, and pour into a double rocks glass, Garnish with a mint sprig, and a pineapple spear
