"Flame" Ukulele by Tiki King
This started life as a Harmony "Tiger stripe" soprano. When I found it at a thrift store in Redwood City back around 2000, It was a mess. The top and Back had seperated, the finish was yellow and peeling, the peg holes were oval, and it was strung with wire and fishing line. I decided it was a good candidate to be an art uke. The Fret board is not painted, but tinted resins that I swirled in the mold while casting it. This was the first time I carved a Tiki in the headstock of an Ukulele
