Tiki King FAQ's'

OK, so I get asked a lot of questions about my Tiki's, and I am going to try and answer a few of them here. If yours is not one of them, feel free to write or e-mail me, and I will either give you the answer, or make up something that sounds neat, depending on how much coffee I have had on that particular day. Anyway, so here goes...

1. The Brady Bunch. I could fill a couple of pages with that one, but what it boils down to is no, I will NOT be making a copy of the Tiki from the Brady Bunch. Ask me about it in person, (and buy me a drink) and I will tell you the whole story, but until then, keep that damn thing away from me. (doodle-oodle-ooo)

2. I cast, clean, detail, dye, paint, and finish each batch of Tikis separately, so they all are a little different. So, if you order two Tikis, they may vary slightly in color or finish. Speaking of color, it is normal for my Tikis to "age" over time. They get smoother and may change color with age and/or exposure. But, it looks cool, so no worries.

3. I make all my Tiki stuff myself, here at the Tiki King workshop. I carve them, I cast them, I drill, sand, and paint them. It takes a little longer, and costs a little more, but, I do it, and I do it for you, baby! For this reason I gennerally do not accept "rush" or overnight orders. If you need it in a hurry or by a specific day, like a birthday, call me, or send me an e-mail and I'll see what / if I can work something out. Simply choosing rush or priority shipping will not change this.

How long does it take to get the goods? I usually ship out a day or two after the order, but it can take longer, like a week or so, depending on the size of the order, if I am home or on the road (which is often) etc. (longer overseas) Why so long? Well, like I said, in most cases, I am out in the workshop personally casting, finishing, carving, sanding and painting every order. This ain't no factory, I make every Tiki myself, and often, when it is ordered. In the case of Ukuleles, they are always built to order, so with Flukes and fleas, usually a week to build, and then transit time. again, If you need it in a hurry or by a specific day, like a birthday, call me, or send me an e-mail and I'll see what / if I can work something out. Simply choosing rush or priority shipping will not change this.

4. The little holes which appear are due to my casting process. They are not defects, but rather, authentic "Pukas" and they add character.

5. Are they good or evil?, good luck or bad luck?, what's the deal? Well, it depends on if you are good or evil, I guess. I do wear and test each new design, and if I seem to have really bad luck, or die, or if it come to life and chases me with a large kitchen knife, I don't sell that design.

6. Yes, I like Rum.
