The "Ukelele KaRaOK Corral" brand ukulele, written with the characters for "Ka" and "Ra" from Japanese katakana, was developed by the Karmadillo TM Co. of Austin, Texas for the souvenir market of San Antonio, the Ukulele Capitol of Texas. Imported instruments were remanufactured to Lorenzo de Luna specifications before being labeled.
