Tiki King's Ukulele Database:
Maikai
Distributed by Shireson Bros. of Los Angeles. Circa 1940's. It has been reported to me that at least one has a paper label reading "Maikai" and "distributed by Shireson Bros. , Los Angeles" which is pasted over a round "Echo-Uke" paper label. Echo was a brand of Hawaiian-made ukuleles which were also sold under the names of "Pele" and "Y'Ke'Ke".
