Virtual Bartender-Zombie


Don the Beachcomber Zombie (the Original)

1 1/2 ounces dark Rum
1 1/2 ounces gold jamaican Rum
1/2 oz Falernum
1 teaspoon grenadine
6 drops Pernod
dash of Angostura bitters
1/2 ounce "Don's mix" (2 parts grapefruit juice to 1 part cinnamon-infused sugar syrup)
1 oz 151 Rum

Put all but 151 in an electric blender with 6 ounces (3/4 cup) crushed ice, then blend at high speed for no more than 5 seconds. Pour into a large tiki mug or other tall Glass. Add ice cubes to fill. Garnish with a mint sprig.

Tiki King Zombie
(The 821 recipe )

1 oz Light Rum
2 oz Anejo Rum
1/2 oz 151 Proof Rum
1/2 oz Apricot Brandy
1 oz Pineapple Juice
1 oz Lime Juice
2 oz Orange Juice
1/2 oz Demerara sugar syrup
Dash bitters

Shake all but 151 well with ice;
strain into large Tiki Mug
or Hurricane glass, 3/4
filled with cracked Ice.
float 151 on top


Zombie #3

1 1/2 oz Gold Rum
1 oz Anjeo Rum
1 oz white Rum
splash of 151 Rum
1 tsp apricot brandy
3 tsp Lime Juice
1 oz pinapple Juice
1 tsp papaya Juice
1 1/2 tsp Simple syrup
1 dash bitters

Shake all but 151 well with ice;
strain into Tiki Mug
or Hurricane glass 3/4
filled with cracked Ice.
float 151 on top
and serve with pineapple spear

Zombie #4

1 1/2 ounces dark Rum
3/4 ounce Jamaica Rum
3/4 ounce light Rum
3/4 ounce pineapple juice
3/4 ounce papaya juice
1 ounce lime juice
1 teaspoon powdered sugar
Splash of 151 demerara Rum

Shake ingredients except 151 with ice;
strain into a chilled Tiki Mug
or hurricane glass filled with crushed ice.
Garnish with a pineapple wheel
and a cherry. Float Demerara Rum
(151 proof) and sprinkle powdered
sugar on top.


Zombie #5, (bowl version) Serves 4

3 oz Gold Rum
3 oz dark Rum
3 oz 151 Rum
2 oz vodka
2 oz Peach brandy
1 oz Lime Juice
3 oz pinapple Juice
2 oz Mango puree
3 oz Simple syrup
1 dash bitters

Combine all ingredients in a pitcher of ice, stir well, serve in a bowl with 4 long straws. drink slowly!
