Knutsen
Made by Chris J. Knutsen. Most famous for his hybrid "Harp" guitars, Knutsen also made Harp Ukes. Although unlike the Guitar counterparts, the Harp Ukuleles generally did not have the additional strings. Born in 1862 in Norway, Knutsen moves to Washington State (USA) in 1895 and sets up shop making "one arm guitars" and establishes the Harp guitar company with a partner in 1906, which only lasts one year. Chris Knutsen Passed away in Los Angeles, CA. November 6th, 1930. There also seems to be a Knutsen-Weissenborn connection.
